The Hatchlings are our delicate 3 – 18months old children. To encourage breastfeeding, we have a dedicated fridge for the children’s breast milk with clearly labelled demarcations for every child. We also have a dedicated food preparation area for the preparation of the children’s cereals and snacks.
To foster independence, which is a key philosophy of the Montessori Method and objective for our Hatchlings, we have low beds where the children can crawl in and out of for their naps. In the Hatchlings Room, children do not follow a strict routine. All children are encouraged to learn through play and are given opportunities to explore through a wide variety of experiences. Along with the individual care-giving moments, teachers will also plan and organise their environments to provide experiences which enhance motor, cognitive and social development, listening and responding to sounds and voices and expressing emotions towards others.
Records of your child’s sleeping patterns, appetite and diaper changes are given to parents daily.
